Good news to all programmers out there! Samsung just launched a bug bounty program, for those who are able to find “worthy” bugs. The program is aimed at finding bugs in both hardware and software.
In case of hardware, devices released before 2016 are not included (with some exceptions) in the program. This means those interested in giving this a shot should focus on devices released during and after 2016. On the other hand, Bixby and Samsung Pay offer the most rewards on the software side. “Bug hunters” are also encouraged to test all apps that are approved and pre-downloaded by Samsung Mobile.
Rewards depend on the severity level of the vulnerability and the amounts range from $200 to $200,000. It is worth noting that no rewards will be given for reports submitted that have no security impact.
You can apply to the program and find all the information you need here.
