Two days ago, Google announced acquiring part of HTC’s smartphone team for $1.1 billion dollars. After this announcement, HTC confirmed that they are planning to and still working on launching a new flagship soon.
According to Frandroid, HTC might be launching (in November) a phone that has similar features to those of the U11, which will most probably be called the U11 Plus. This upcoming flagship might be HTC’s first smartphone with a bezel-less 5.9-inch display.
Not much has been confirmed, leaked, or even speculated about HTC’s new device, except that it will be coming with a new display, and an IP68 certification (whereas the U11 had an IP67).
