The P9 from Huawei last year received many good reviews. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that Huawei’s 2016 smartphones had many good reviews, which included the honor 8, P9, and Mate 8. Here’s a look at the specs of the P10 and P10 Plus, 2 of the best devices launched at MWC 2017.
Samsung has just released the Nougat update for S7 edge devices in Lebanon. Now, I’m not new to the update as I didn’t want to wait for the OTA update to arrive, and so I went ahead and flashed my S7 Edge with the UK version of the firmware (I don’t recommend it unless you know all the risks of flashing a firmware). With the update’s welcomed arrival, Grace UX, apps, and many new features arrive. An app that just made available on the S7 and S7 Edge is Samsung’s Secure Folder App (downloaded from the Galaxy App Store).Continue reading “Samsung’s Secure Folder App”
Shockingly, the device that grabbed most attention during MWC wasn’t any of the new tablets or high-end smartphones announced, it was rather the new Nokia 3310. Following the MWC event, and the news flowing from there, it was clear how much people were excited about this new device. The Nokia 3310 stole the spotlight at MWC.
LG had high hopes for its G5 smartphone with its modular design for 2016, but unfortunately, that didn’t pan out. It was reported that LG mobile had a loss of $381 million due to the G5’s poor sales (CNET). Now the company is ready to take on competition with their newly announced flagship for 2017, the LG G6.
Over the past couple of years, the Android tablet market has taken a big hit, with consumers moving towards iPads or window’s tablets. Samsung kept updating their android tablet lines but didn’t stop there, as last year they entered the market with a windows tablet (Tab Pro S). The company finally updated their android Tab S line by introducing the Tab S3, at MWC 2017.
If you’re a tech geek like me, then chances are you’ve been waiting for this event since the beginning of the year!
MWC arrived this year with many interesting announcements, from companies such as Samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei, Blackberry, and most importantly NOKIA!
Here’s a list of some of the devices that I have found really interesting, and that I plan to hopefully write about soon:
- Galaxy Tab S3
- Galaxy Book
- LG G6 (honestly first LG phone to grab my attention)
- BlackBerry Keyone
- Huawei P10
- Sony Xperia XZ
- And let’s not forget the nostalgic Nokia 3310!
Vox Cinemas in Lebanon is doing a great job with their theaters, and the overall experience offered to customers. Their IMAX experience is hands down the best theater experience available in Lebanon. Not so long ago, they launched their first 4DX theater in Lebanon. Continue reading “4DX Cinema, Is It Worth It?”
I’ve wanted to post this review since March but rather chose to wait until I have used the phone for some time. The S7 or S7 edge’s design is not new to Samsung. Samsung completely changed the design of its Galaxy S series back in April 2015, when they introduced the S6 and S6 edge. These two phones were two of the most beautiful and well-designed phones of the year. They were the first phones (by Samsung) that actually gave their users a premium build feel. Last year, when I first got my S6, I was a bit confused if I should go ahead and buy the S6 edge, or just stick to the S6. The S6 edge was Samsung’s first phone featuring dual edge display, and that actually gave the phone its unique beautiful design. I wasn’t really sure how much use I would have for the edge display, and so I went for the regular S6. This year it was time for me to adopt the new edge technology and give it a chance. This is my review of the new S7 edge, its pros, and cons.
